Dear Members
10/08
MORE GREAT NEWS. THIS WEBSITE WAS ESTABLISHED YEARS AGO WHEN WEBSITES WERE MORE COMPLICATED. OUR NEW WEBSITE HAS BEEN LAUNCHED AND IT IS AT
www.fshr.us
NOTE THE DIFFERENT SERVER, IT IS 'US' AND NOT 'ORG'.
CHECK OUT THE NEW PAGES
AND A VERY GRATEFUL THANK YOU GOES TO 'VIOLETTA JACKOWSKI' FOR HER TIRELESS WORK ON DEVELOPING THIS NEW WEBPAGE.
8/1/08 INSPECTION NEWS!!!
THE FRIESIAN SPORT HORSE REGISTRY HAS BEEN INVITED TO PARTICIPATE WITH "FPZV" AND "FXR" IN A NATIONWIDE 'INSPECTION'
PROPOSED SITES ARE:
Waxahachie, TX
Murrieta, CA
Snohomish, WA
Helene, MT
Stillwater, MN
DePere, WI
Ontario, (If a site is found)
New York, (site not set yet)
Norlina, NC
Ocala, FL (If enough interest)
Lake St.Louis, MO (an inspection will be held at the IFSHA Grand Nationals)
THE 'FPZV' WILL BE SHARING INSPECTION SITES AND DATES. THE 'FSHR' WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED TO INSPECT 'CROSSBREDS' THOUGH.
THE JUDGES WILL BE THE 'FPZV' BREEDING DIRECTOR, DR. GEORG OEPPERT, AND THE HONORABLE MICHAEL BUNSE. THEY ARE SANCTIONED EUROPEAN UNION AND GERMAN 'FN' JUDGES FOR FRIESIANS.
Dr. Oeppert is also a veterinarian. Both judges are very well respected in Europe. Because the FPZV is an International Purebred Friesian registry, their judges may not inspect any purebred Friesians for registration purposes for any other organization during an FPZV sanctioned event.
This will not be a competition between the organizations. FPZV, FXR, AND FSHR horses will each be judged as separate groups. Category and site champions will be selected and recognized for each separate registry.
All horses are to pay fees that include:
Judges Travel Fee - $175
Entry Fee - $25
Non-Memeber Fee - $25
AWARDS WILL INCLUDE MEDALS AND A CERTIFICATE. MEDALS ARE GOLD, SILVER, AND BRONZE.
As always, all members and non-members horses are also responsible for their share of costs at the site such as stalls, hotel for judges and secretary, meals for judges and secretary. This fee is usually divided by the number of horses and is administered by the site host. The more horses, the less it will cost per horse.
Entry paperwork can either go through the FSHR or through the FPZV/FXR office in Texas.
Deadline is August 31, 2008. We prefer to know by the 15th, but will not penalize entries after that. There will be a late intry fee of $75 per horse for any entry postmarked after August 31, 2008. All fees must be paid at this time.
FSHR awards will be handed out at the host site.
If you have any questions, please contact the Registry.
Remember to go to the "Inspection News" to find other inspection sites being offered by FEIT, and AWS.
Thank you
Kris Gabriel
President
